A couple short weeks after my own harrowing experience on Mt. Rainier and I'm back in those clouds, this time in the midst of someone else's mountain misery. Three lost hikers, and one dead, in a blizzard...in June. And my only picture is of a group of giggly fourth graders tromping around the Paradise visitor's center.

Strange wilderness
A couple short weeks after my own harrowing experience on Mt. Rainier and I'm back in those clouds, this time in the midst of someone else's mountain misery.
